The Human Support Conversation™
When someone at work appears overwhelmed, withdrawn or distressed, many leaders hesitate: What should I say? What if I make it worse? The Human Support Conversation™ is a practical 90-minute Value Coaching workshop for managers and people leaders who want to respond with care, clarity and appropriate boundaries. Participants learn to notice meaningful change without diagnosing, open a private permission-based conversation, listen without rushing to fix, and connect the person with appropriate practical, organisational or professional support. Using the CARE-LINK™ Workplace Support Pathway, they explore response thresholds, confidentiality limits, follow-through and work factors that may be contributing to distress. The workshop uses reflection, demonstration, paired rehearsal and a realistic fictional workplace case. Participants leave with usable language, a first-conversation checklist and an immediate action they can apply. Available on request for organisations, teams and professional groups.
