Key outcomes
- Burnout as an occupational phenomenon associated with chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed — not a weakness, personality type or diagnosis for managers to make.
- The trajectory from healthy stretch and ordinary stress through sustained strain, recovery debt and burnout risk.
- Changes in energy, connection and professional efficacy as practical early-warning dimensions.
- Work conditions that may increase or protect capacity, including workload, pace, control, role clarity, support, fairness, recognition, meaning, digital availability and recovery.
- The RESTORE Burnout Prevention OS™: Recognise, Examine, Stabilise, Talk Early, Optimise, Reconnect and Evaluate.
- The Burnout Risk Compass™ as a non-clinical reflection and conversation aid.

Agenda at a glance
09:00–09:25 | Opening — The Cost of Normalised Depletion
Story, executive poll, learning agreement and baseline pulse. Establish burnout prevention as a work, leadership and system issue rather than a test of personal toughness.
09:25–10:15 | Module 1 — Burnout Literacy and Mental Wellness
Continuum challenge, Burnout Trajectory Map™ and scope discussion. Distinguish ordinary pressure from sustained strain and burnout risk; clarify the three burnout dimensions and the non-clinical role of managers.
10:15–10:30 | Morning Break
Protected recovery and informal reflection.
10:30–11:25 | Module 2 — Detect the Trajectory
Burnout Risk Compass™, signal-pattern lab and peer coaching. Notice changes in energy, connection, efficacy and work conditions before depletion becomes normalised.
11:25–12:20 | Module 3 — Diagnose the Work
Psychosocial risk map, Work Design Forensics and Capacity Rebalance Canvas™. Identify demands, resource gaps and controls at individual, team and system levels.
12:20–13:05 | Lunch
Lunch break with an optional private reflection prompt; no working lunch.
13:05–14:00 | Module 4 — Respond Safely
CARE Conversation™ demonstration, triad practice, support boundaries and difficult-response scripts. Practise checking in without diagnosing, coercing or overpromising.
14:00–14:50 | Module 5 — Redesign Sustainable Capacity
Trade-off simulation, priority reset, digital boundaries and Team Capacity Charter™. Make scope, time, resource, decision-right and availability choices explicit.
