Three Depths of Development — Each Suited to a Different Need

Training is not simply a longer workshop, and workshops are not a lesser format. They solve different development needs. Choosing the right depth is the first design decision.

The Design Framework

How Every Programme Is Designed

A single six-stage framework sits behind every programme — from a 90-minute workshop to a residential retreat. It begins with diagnosis, which is what separates premium training from a course: no diagnosis, no premium.

01

Diagnose

Understand the real capability gap, context and constraints before designing anything. Diagnostic-led, not assumed.

02

Challenge

Introduce productive challenge — surface assumptions and stretch thinking to reveal the gap between current and needed capability.

03

Learn

Build the knowledge, frameworks, models and principles that underpin the capability.

04

Practise

Rehearse in safe, structured, low-stakes contexts — case studies, role play, simulations.

05

Apply

Transfer to real work: apply the thinking to the participant’s own context, projects and decisions.

06

Reinforce

Embed through follow-up, accountability, reflection and spaced reinforcement so the capability sticks.

The depth of each stage scales to the format — a 90-minute workshop touches diagnosis, challenge and practice; a multi-day or residential programme works all six in depth.

From Learning to Application

How Capability Becomes Useful at Work

The design framework is supported by two complementary lenses — one behavioural, one capability-based — that turn understanding into applied, durable change.

Behavioural development lens

Mindset→Behaviour→Practice→Application→Reinforcement→Stickiness

Professional capability lens

Concept→Tool→Practice→Application→Capability
Development That Survives Monday Morning

Designed for Stickiness, Not Just Satisfaction

Most training is measured by how people felt on the day. We design for applied change — the kind that shows up back at work.

Mindset

Surface the beliefs and assumptions driving current behaviour.

Behaviour

Identify the specific behaviours that need to change.

Practice

Deliberate rehearsal in realistic conditions, not just theory.

Application

Connect every concept to a real professional situation.

Reinforcement

Build follow-up mechanisms so change survives Monday.

Stickiness

Measure applied change — not just attendance or satisfaction.

How Training Can Be Evaluated

A Simple, Honest Evaluation Reference

We draw on the Kirkpatrick framework as a shared language for what good evaluation looks like — from reaction through to results.

01

Reaction

How did participants experience the training?

02

Learning

What knowledge, skills and confidence were gained?

03

Behaviour

What changed in how people act in real situations?

04

Results

What impact showed up in teams, decisions and outcomes?

Evaluation is agreed with each client based on the programme's purpose — not every programme needs all four layers, but the choice should be deliberate.

Custom Organisational Training

Designed Around Your Organisation's Context

Many organisational challenges cannot be solved through generic training. Programmes can be tailored to your context — your strategy, your teams, your real situations — and delivered in-house or offsite.

Organisations often invite Ashish to support:

  • Strengthening leadership capability across a team or function
  • Improving communication, collaboration and difficult conversations
  • Building strategic thinking and decision quality
  • Developing commercial, sales or client-relationship capability
  • Supporting leaders through transformation and change
  • Aligning culture, team effectiveness and accountability

Bring Your Most Complex Questions

Because Ashish combines executive coaching with leadership facilitation, sessions can address real organisational challenges rather than theoretical scenarios.

  • Difficult stakeholder relationships
  • Persistent team conflicts
  • Leadership transitions
  • Organisational change challenges
  • Decision-making dilemmas

These discussions often lead to insights that extend far beyond the training itself.
